I'm looking forward to the first game tomorrow. Please have the players arrive 30 minutes prior to game time (so 12:30) for warm ups. The field we're playing at is about bc 45 minutes away. The address / map link can be found on the schedule on the team website. 
 

 

Hello,

My name is Patrick Neilan and I will be coaching the Fall 2022 Majors Softball team.  I've been coaching Simsbury Little League softball for years, but this is my first time being team manager.  

Our team practices have been scheduled for Monday 5-7 (1 hr on field, 1 hr batting cages) & Wednesday from 5-6:30, starting tomorrow!  I know this is very last minute so I understand if anyone can't make practice this week (I just received the team rosters yesterday) but the games are currently scheduled to start the weekend of 9/10.  If you are signed up for notifications, you probably received an influx of the practice notifications already.  The game schedule is being finalized and will be added to the team schedule on the website, hopefully by next week.  

Please have your child bring: water, bat, glove, helmet and fielding mask to each practice/game.   If you need any equipment, please let me know.  

One other quick note: It is very important that parents communicate with me throughout the season, specifically for game day attendance.  If we don't have enough players committed for a game, we have the ability to supplement our roster with other players so we don't need to forfeit the game, but if I don't know who's coming, that isn't possible.  We had issues with this in the spring, so your cooperation is appreciated. 

If there are any parents that want to help with practices please let me know as we can always use the help.
